Making baby wipes are also convenient in that they are different in the type of use, but they may contain chemical elements that cause allergies in some, so it is better to try to create them with your own hands, especially if you need them for a child who is constantly getting dirty. So, we have prepared for you a recipe to make baby wipes at home, according to which you can quickly and easily prepare what you need.
DIY Wet Wipes
First, we will show you a classic recipe that is suitable not only for children but also for adults. These wipes can get rid of dirt, sweat and cleanse the skin in general. For DIY natural baby wipes, we need the following ingredients:
- Strong paper towels – 1 pack;
- Purified water (warm) – 400 gr;
- Olive oil – 2 tbsps;
- Liquid soap – 2 tbsps.
A container that is closed with a lid and must hold a roll of towels. If there is no such container, then the roll can be cut in half. Now special containers with a slot in the middle are being sold – they are very convenient for this particular process.
We first mix soap, water, and olive oil, then put towels into the container and pour the resulting mixture there. The container with soaked towels should be well closed with a lid.
Soak the towels in this mixture for 10 minutes on both sides – they need to be turned over. Next, the container needs to be opened and the cardboard mullion removed from the package. So natural wet wipes are ready, it is better to store them closed.
The second recipe is even better for the smallest children because they are practically harmless. In this case, the cooking technology is almost the same as in the previous recipe, but the components are slightly different:
- Boiled water – 400 gr;
- Baby lotion – 1 tbsp;
- Baby soap – 1 tbsp;
- Baby oil – 1 tbsp;
- One roll of paper towels.
In a solution that is created from water, soap, lotion, and oil, it is necessary to soak the towels for 15 minutes by turning the container over.
Well, the last recipe for homemade wet wipes, which have antibacterial properties. Great for treating your baby’s wounds, cuts, and before eating. We will need:
- Tea tree oil – 10 drops;
- Pure water – 100 ml;
- Plain vinegar – 1 tbsp;
- Vegetable glycerin – 1 tbsp;
- Aloe Vera – 50 ml;
- Roll of paper towels.
Mix all the ingredients and pour them into the container, then place the towels there and keep them for several hours. When the napkins are well saturated, they are ready to use.
You can choose any of the suggested homemade napkins for your child. All of them are from natural substances (as you already understood), so in no way they will harm your baby’s skin. If you don’t know, then choose, just try to cook each one and choose the best option for you.
Agree, there is nothing difficult here. You can make your own wet wipes every time the last roll ends, or you can do it a little ahead. But it is worth considering that they will need to be stored in a closed container in a dark place so that they don’t dry out and deteriorate. Start crafting right now!
