Although, usually already at this age, children can learn not to wake up during the night, or wake up if they want to eat or go to the toilet.

At about 8-10 months, the baby can already learn to crawl and stand on his feet. Also, somewhere at this age, you need to teach the child to sleep separately, or even in his own room. A child can get used to the fact that during sleep there are no parents nearby. He begins to fear and worry that you have left him and may not return. Therefore, he begins to wake up and “call” you, demanding support.

From 9 months old, babies begin to walk and talk. It is these big advances and steps that can trigger sleep anxiety.

Sleep regression, which appears between the ages of 18 and 24 months, can be caused by nightmares, fear of the dark, or ordinary anxiety.

How to deal with sleep regression?

In addition, you need to clearly think over the daily routine and sleep and adhere to it for at least a month, so that the baby can get used to the new constant regime.
